VectorSection

VectorSection is a vector graphics translation system with support for a wide variety of vector graphics data formats. It allows users to share data between applications and gives software developers a way to directly access graphics data.

With this funding, VectorSection will add support for reading the binary .dwg format, opening access to the CAD industry's de facto graphics format for users of open source applications. Just as support for the proprietary .doc file format is essential to open source word processors, .dwg support is essential to open source CAD applications.
