World Forestry Center Their mission is to educate and inform people about the importance of the world's forests and trees, to all life. To promote a balanced and sustainable future. It is a beautiful structure. Take MAX to the Zoo Exit, ride the elevator.

Portland Children's Museum welcomes more than 280,000 children each year from birth to age ten and their caregivers. Take MAX to the Zoo Exit, ride the elevator.

A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village Salem Oregon. Year-round fun with indoor & outdoor interactive exhibits that promote learning through play. Kids & adults alike enjoy our three historic houses & 20,000-square-foot Outdoor Discovery Center. The hands-on children's museum invites families & groups to enjoy a truly unique educational experience in Salem, Oregon's Riverfront Park. 45 minutes South of Portland on I-5.

Barbur Blvd Playland $1 / hour. A very large indoor play structure (heated and A/C) hosted by a local Burger King franchise. Great for kids 2-12. 7601 SW Barbur Blvd Portland, OR 97219 503/245-1238 - Public Transport: Take South-bound #12 Bus, look for Fred Meyer & Burger King sign on right.

Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club Large indoor electric train set. One of the sites used in the making of the movie - Train Master. The club owns their own building. See a 60' x 70' room, full of model trains.
